Meet Dr Bob
Dr Bob Selko was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on
August 8, 1950 and has lived more than half of his life
in California. He first arrived on the Central Coast on
July 4th, 1975 and then went north to reside in Marin
County in the SF Bay area.
After graduating high school in 1968 Dr Bob spent 4
years in the United States Air Force and worked as
an OR Tech for the top gun surgeons at Wilford Hall
Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Desires to become
an orthopedic surgeon were diminished after he
witnessed many questionable operations being
performed prior to a more conservative approach
being explored. This prompted a change in his
perspectives on health care.
After the military, he moved to the mountains west of
Boulder, Colorado and began studies in health
alternate therapies such as shiatsu, massage,
homeopathy and diet & nutrition. He married in 1980
and has two sons, Anthony, 29 & Andrew, 25.

Dr Bob went to Chiropractic school at Life West in
San Lorenzo, CA and graduated in June of 1986. He
recently retired from active, full time practice in the
San Rafael area after 21+ years of service as a
Chiropractor and 30 years in health care.
Dr Bob is developing this site in order to reach more
people and teach them about a simplistic approach
to health, with respect to diet, nutrition, exercise and
lifestyle choices. He believes we can change the bad
habits into good ones if we understand the risks &
rewards of our choices. If we learn the parts and
then the function and we observe what is going on,
then we are in a great position to direct our health
and longevity to consistent vibrancy.
Dr Bob wants you to focus on health care and not on
disease care, so that you can add years to your life
and life to your years. You can all choose health
yourself & become an ACE with a little help and a lot
